About Us

The Cunski American Social Club was founded in 1948 in New York City. The purpose of the club was to bring together, socially, the people who immigrated from Cunski to the United States. The club is open for membership to anyone who is of Cunski ancestry or is connected to a Cunski descendant by marriage.

We meet four times a year. The meetings have a happy and festive atmosphere. We socialize, share a wonderful family style meal, talk, laugh and plan our social activities. In the past, we organized trips to Atlantic City, the racetrack, dinner at a winery, fishing trips, picnics and other outings. We seek input from all members and decide, as a group, what we'd like to do. Several years ago we organized a trip to Cunski. Another trip is in the very early planning stages.

The club sponsors a yearly Christmas party where Santa comes and distributes gifts to our children. It is always very well attended by adults and children of all ages. We share a meal, have live music and dancing, and sing Christmas carols. A very happy event!

If you are from Cunski, or are a descendant, and do not live in the New York Metropolitan area, you are still welcome to join the club. Our trips and activities are open to members and non-members alike.
